Your Member Rating is represented by stars that appear beside your sign-in name (four stars is the best rating you can receive). Your star rating is determined by the responses and comments from other members about your participation in transactions. In other words, stars represent your electronic "reputation."

Tips to improve your Member Rating:
  • Be responsive. When you reply to questions promptly it encourages buyers to make offers. Honesty and courtesy also promote customer loyalty.
  • Be honest. Represent your items or services for sale accurately. In most cases, complaints and negative feedback result because buyers received something materially different from the ad description.
  • Make attempts to resolve issues that have resulted in negative feedback. If you have received a negative feedback rating, we encourage you to read the description of the complaint from your Rating page and resolve the issue with the buyer or seller as soon as possible. Many problems are simple misunderstandings. You can also respond to feedback from your Rating page. The buyer can revise their rating within 90 days after the sale date.
