Also contains black and white photo copies of early original Zebco ads, expanded diagrams of parts & construction, together with part numbers, proto-type diagrams for gearing, etc. Also included (in color) are older open spool type hand crank reels, early fly reels, some of which are not Zebco. This section, located in the back, is intended to give a historical time line of development to fishing reels. Also included are some of the early South Bend models & photos of early Zebco Prototypes.
It's a rather small reference, but my guess is that it will be invaluable for identifying the particular model number and year of make for those who collect, buy, sell, fix, etc. these early classics.
