Detailed Model Toy Steam Powered Fire Engine - Wilesco D305. ~ Mint Condition w/original box ~ All metal construction with detailed die-cast spoked wheels and rubber tires. Vertical brass boiler with water guage, safety valve, and working steam whistle. Double-acting brass piston/cylinder with oil lubrication cup and adjustable steam regulating valve. Clutch lever allows the engine to operate in neutral, drive, or pumping mode. In the pumping mode the engine can pump water from the water tank located under the front wood seat. The miniature rubber hoses on the spools are removable. Exhaust steam from the piston/cylinder is vented to a small tray under the chassis. Front wheel assembly is steerable with small hand wheel located in front seat. Measures 16 1/8"L x 7 7/16"W x 10"H (to top of chimney).
