ED SULLIVAN & CAPTAIN KANGAROO CELEBRATE ANNIVERSARIES
This double feature disc offers two one hour unique and totally different kind of celebrations. We start out with a TV special celebrating the 25th anniversary of the children’s icon of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s - CAPTAIN KANGAROO….and then the Friars Club roasts another TV icon - Ed Sullivan as he celebrated 10 years on television. These two rare treats came from original Beta copies and first generation recorded direct to DVD providing excellent broadcast picture and sound quality (a solid 8 to 8.5). They are presented exactly as originally broadcast complete with original network commercials and station breaks.

"The Friar's Club" roasts Ed Sullivan. Taken from original 16 MM prints this show was originally broadcast November 9th, 1958 and comes complete with original Kodak commercials done by Bud Collyer
