COWBOY G-MEN starring Russell Hayden
In 1952 Russell Hayden, long associated with Hoppalong
Cassidy as sidekick Lucky, starred in his own western series along
with Jackie Coogan as his compainion Stoney Crockett. This
was a different approach to the popular westerns of the early
50's with Hayden & Coogan playing special government
agents out to catch the bad guys. Like all westerns of that era
which tried to copy the flavor of the old popular B western movies
this series had plenty of action with Coogan going for the
laughs. Coogan would, of course, go on the more fame as Uncle
Fester in the popular Adams Family TV series. 39 excellent
