Marilyn & Bobby: Her Final Affair (1993 TV movie) Melody Anderson. Could be!
Script writer Gerard MacDonald postulates an amusing but weirdly plausible theory that, in the days somewhere between JFK's assassination and Marilyn Monroe's reported suicide from a drug overdose, Marilyn managed to squeeze in an affair with then-Attorney General and JFK's younger brother Bobby Kennedy. This film claims to be based on hard evidence such as a diary Marilyn kept, bugs and recording devices placed in her home and compromising explicit pictures taken by hired goons, one of whom was supposedly on the scene and a convenient eye witness to much of the goings-on (such as the supposed Government-ordered return of Marilyn to her home by the ambulance called to get her to the hospital while she was still alive in order to let her die instead of surviving). Unfortunately, all the principles in the story are dead, so there's probably no remaining evidence left intact and NOT destroyed to verify its veracity. In my own personal opinion and to my knowledge, Bobby Kennedy, a devout Catholic, was, first, an unquestionably loyal husband to his wife Ethel, though according to this story Marilyn did hit on him at a party they both attended. And second, he was far too busy with his duties of bringing down the Mafia and Fidel Castro plus cranking out children with said wife that he would hardly have had the time to indulge in a dalliance with a doped-up, boozed-out movie siren. However, conspiracy theorists (and lord knows they abound where both the Kennedys and Marilyn Monroe are concerned) will definitely enjoy this exercise and give them new material to investigate, and others might just enjoy it for the fun it presents, however soberly. Besides, if the recent TV miniseries called "The Kennedys", can be trusted, all the males of the Kennedy clan were, without exception and to put it delicately, "genitally generous", so I suppose anything's possible. The truth will surely go to the grave with us all. In the meantime, enjoy this film and its intriguing plot line for what it is. There's lots of Government intrigue and cover-ups involved, including bits that involve actor Peter Lawford. According to this account, Marilyn was silenced by Government parties in which JFK was complicit because her affair(s) with the Kennedy boys were becoming an embarrassment. Supposedly, an ambulance whisking her off to the hospital was intercepted and told to return the still-alive Marilyn to her home to be left to die, and this was all supposedly witnessed by reliable people who were spying on RFK at the behest of FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover at the time. Watch the film and decide for yourself.

Melody Anderson does only a decent job of impersonating Monroe, but then Marilyn was one of a kind and not easily duplicable, though Catherine Hicks does a vastly better job of it in the TV movie "Marilyn: The Untold Story" from 1980, also offered by me here. The real actor to watch in this piece, though, is James F. Kelly, whose RFK is spot-on in every way. Also, Thomas Wagner as teamsters union head Jimmy Hoffa, Richard Dysart as FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover, and Raymond Serra as mob boss Sam Giancana are all extremely believable here. So even if you're not a conspiracy theorist, the storyline is definitely exciting and eats up an hour and a half like nothing else.

The region-free (playable worldwide) DVD comes to you in a slim DVD case with full artwork as shown here.

International (outside U.S.)orders are always welcome, and I used to send these Priority Mail for an additional fee, however as postal rates at my end have skyrocketed of late making that option unaffordable I can only offer First Class "small packet" service, which frankly has its risks, the biggest of which is the lack of tracking available, so PLEASE BE SURE YOUR MAILING ADDRESS IS COMPLETE AND ACCURATE PRIOR TO ORDERING in order to minimize the chance of non-delivery as these items are not returned to me if they cannot be delivered for any reason.

I accept personal or cashiers checks and money orders from U.S. buyers and PayPal from everyone in the whole wide world.

Thanks for looking and please feel free to message me with any questions.
