| This is a great 25 minute DVD which traces the 1953 Indy 500 from the qualifying runs to the actual race, which took place in unprecedented heat, which execeeded 130 degrees on the track. Half the drivers in the race used back-up drivers to give them a break ! Bill Vukovich, who won the pole position, also won the race. This show is in excellent COLOR, which is rare for 1950s footage ! Enjoy this trip back in time. A great item for racing fans. |
