48. NEW PRICE IS RIGHT (1972) This is a very rare item. It is a promotional reel hosted by Mark Goodman (Of Goodman & Todman Productions) introducing the new format for the classic Price Is right (which is the format they still use today). He also introduces the host, Dennis James.
49. WE’VE GOT YOUR NUMBER (1975) This is the unsold pilot version of what would later become “High Rollers”. This unsold version starred Jack Barry.
50. PEOPLE ARE FUNNY (1958) A true classic starring Art Linkletter.
51. I’VE GOT A SECRET (1966) A television classic – this version is hosted by Steve Allen.
52. BINGO AT HOME (1953) A really weird one starring Monty Hall where people play bingo using their telephone number.
53. BRIDE & GROOM (1953 & 1957) Seems we have gone full circle on this one – couples agree to get married on television – 1957 show hosted by Robert Paige / 1953 version hosted by John Nelson
54. STRIKE IT RICH (1951) An early game show hosted by Warren Hull (who played The SPIDER and THE GREEN HORNET in the movie series)
55. THE NAME IS THE SAME (1955) Hosted by Dennis James people try to stump the stars with a famous name (ie, one woman’s name was Jesse James) and in the format of To Tell The Truth, they question the contestant.
57. TREASURE ISLE (1967) Hosted by John Bartholemew Tucker. Couple compete in a number of water related games to make it to treasure isle and the treasure hunt. (A local show from Florida)
58. DREAM HOUSE (1968) In the Newlywed Game style, couples play against each other to win rooms and when they get enough rooms, they get the whole house built for them as their grand prize. Hosted by Mike Darrow.
59. THE BABY GAME (1968) Hosted by Richard Hayes, couples watch films of children trying to predict what they will do next.
60. TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES (1956) This is actually the original pilot for the daytime version of the show. It starts with creator Ralph Edwards announcing to the audience the daytime format. Then he introduces a brand new face to MC the show. A man who was about to embark on a new career in television. His name is Bob Barker. THIS IS BOB BARKER’S FIRST TV SHOW AS MC!
61. PLAY YOUR HUNCH (1961) A first broadcast of a new game show hosted by Merv Griffin.
62. PDQ (1965) A long running classic starring Dennis James.
63. TIC TAC DOUGH (1953) This is an early version of a popular game show of the 1970’s. This version hosted by Jay Jackson.
