Trackdown was a black and white CBS series which ran 70 episodes from October 1957-January 1959. It starred Robert Culp as Hoby Gilman, a Texas Ranger in the 1870s. It was a well done Western for its time and also introduced Steve McQueen's character of Josh Randall which later developed into the series Wanted Dead or Alive. McQueen's character is featured in 2 episodes. Many episodes were based on actual case files and had the endorsement of the Texas Rangers and the state of Texas.
The picture quality is fair running between a 6-7. The audio is much better ranging about an 8.5. All episodes are watchable. All 70 episodes are in chronological order.
This is an extremely rare Western and hasn't been aired for years.
