This single-season show was one of the innumerable formats of the "Archie Gang" cartoons ("Archie's TV Funhouse," "Archie's TV Funnies," and "The Archies") in the early 70's.  This one capitalized on the Bicentennial fever leading up to 1976.  The premise was historical events as witnessed by the "ancestors of the Archie gang."  The stories provided some interesting historical lessons.
