These caps are designed to fit all standard or oversize 4x4 fence or deck posts. The caps measure 5 inches square at the base with a 45 degree bevel all around the top and they are approximately 1 1/8 inches thick. Quick and simple installation, the caps are flat on the bottom and you simply nail to the flat top of your post. They are cut from "Trex" composite decking material and are virtually indestructable - they will not deteriorate in the weather and may be painted any color you desire. Truly a lifetime investment!
