Vintage Egyptian Assuit 1920's Women's Shrug

This handmade piece is fabricated from a complete and uncut vintage assuit shawl.
The shawl is fuschia with figural metal work in both gold and silver.
It has been folded and lined with matching silk and trimmed with glass bead edging.
This piece is very striking and unusual because assuit usually has either silver or gold metalwork but not both on the same shawl.
The shrug is ideal for a size 12 but could be worn by smaller or larger sizes due to the design.
The assuit has 2 small holes which I have gently repaired to make them less visible.
The one pictured before repair is about 3/4 inch long and the smaller one is about 1/2 inch long and both are on the back of a sleeve.
This piece could be disassembled if the buyer is interested in using it in its original form as a shawl.
