Panasonic Lumix DMC GH1K Direct from Japan!
The warranty paper is coming with the camera. It is good only in Japan .
For repairs, contact us first and send it back to us. We will
forward it to Panasonic here in Japan.
This camera is Japanese version, NTSC. Only Japanese menu and it cannot be changed to English.
The menu pages for the G1 which are almost all exactly the same for the GH1.
The extra menu pages for video recording are short and not difficult to understand.
They would be useful for any English speaker to understand the Japanese
version of the menus.

The menu text for this camera are all in Japanese, but most of the menu items have an icon also.These icons are common in all language settings. The ordering and organization of the menu pages does not change with language.There is an English language owner's manual PDF available on the Panasonic web site.I can also provide a one page text map quick reference of the menu pages in English.Using the manual,and quick reference, non-Japanese speakers seem to quite successfully navigate and control this camera.
