This ad is for a DVD of the History channel's 2-hour special "Manson." This informative movie starts with events nine months prior to the murders and takes you through the murders until now. This is an in-depth look at what Manson hoped would start "Helter Skelter."
The story is pieced together with interviews of Linda Kasabian, Vincent Bugliosi (lead detective and prosecuter) and another Manson follower, Catherine Share, called Gypsy by the family. The show will also feature Debra Tate, Sharon's sister who was suppose to be at the house that night, who had been watching the house for months as Sharon was finishing a film.
History Channel's special is a drama-documentary. It will feature rare film footage, interviews and also actors demonstrating some of the scenes talked about.
