*QUESTIONS? ASK NOW!* Because we have so many thousands of titles, as you might imagine, production quality can vary wildly, especially with older titles. Our golden rule is we try not to sell anything we wouldn't personally be willing to listen to ourselves, but people's tastes vary, and if you have any questions, as to quality or whether a title is unabridged or abridged, etc., NOW is the time to ask, before purchasing. Occasionally, usually with older recordings, it's impossible to confirm whether a work is abridged or unabridged, or other details, but we'll always do our best to let you know everything we do. And if you ask, we'll give you our honest opinion on sound quality - sounds great or it sounds pretty good but with some slight background hiss, etc. - but how good a recording sounds will obviously often be partially subjective, depending on the individual, so we can only vouch for how it sounds to US. (And just for the record, if you're one of those people who think that a recording has to have a certain minimum bitrate to sound good, you're wrong, and you probably haven't listened to a lot of audio book recordings.) Finally, no, we do not sell any voice to text, Robby the Robot sounding, recordings, so that's one thing you do NOT need to ask. ;)
ALL files are in MP3 format, meaning they will play on your computer or in any MP3 compatible player - which most more recent audio players are. If you have an iPod or other portable player, all you have to do is copy the files from the DVD's onto your computer and import them into your device. If you want to listen to them in your car,you can either use an adapter to plug your portable device into your car stereo or you can burn the MP3s to CD. Very simple.
(PLEASE NOTE: the DVD's themselves will only play in devices that support both DVD's & MP3 files. These disks have been burned on DVD+R media and at settings that ensure the highest compatibility, but to play them as is you must have a DVD/MP3 capable player.)
SHIPPING INFORMATION
Please allow up to 4 days to ship. It usually takes less time than that (much less), but sometimes things get very busy.
All shipping is done by Domestic or International First Class mail.
Orders from within the US are shipped FREE. All others will be charged $2.00 per DVD required. (We use dual-layer DVD discs when necessary and each disc is shipped separately to avoid having to send them through Customs.) International orders can take anywhere from five or six days to two weeks, so please be patient if your order does take longer.
REFUND POLICY
There are no refunds for items shipped. If items are damaged, seller will replace them. Buyer agrees to ship damaged items back at his or her expense, and when received the seller will ship replacement items. The replacement items will be the EXACT same items, unless an intact/working replacement can't be found for one or more items, in which case the seller will work with the buyer to find an acceptable replacement(s). Seller pays for the return shipping. |
