This upgrade is for ONE WAY TRAVEL (up to 3 segments). It is for a one-cabin upgrade. You can purchase a coach class ticket and upgrade to Business class or purchase a Business class ticket and upgrade to First class, subject to AA’s terms and conditions below.

All flights must be operated by American Airlines ONLY. No code share flights can be upgraded. This upgrades expires February 28th, 2010, so please make sure that your flight is prior to that date.

IMPORTANT: You must meet the requirements below. I will not be responsible for those who cannot be upgraded due to unavailability or a non-upgradeable ticket. However, if your first trip is not upgraded I will work with you on future trips (within reason) until you are either upgraded or the upgrade expires whichever comes first.

IMPORTANT!! Please Read!!

1. Before placing your bid, it is your responsibility to call American [1-800-433-7300] to book your Coach/Business itinerary and verify that your ticket and flight is available for Electronic Systemwide / VIP upgrade. Tell them a friend has offered to upgrade you with a VIP upgrade. You will be able to verify the upgrade is available at time of purchase if seats are available. Note that upgrades are subject to capacity controls like frequent flyer tickets, and may not always be available to be confirmed instantaneously. If the upgrade is not available, you can get on a waitlist.

2. Upon winning and paying for the item via PayPal (ONLY), you must email me your name, record locator, American Advantage number, flight number, and dates of travel. I will respond within 12 hours to confirm that the upgrade has been applied successfully.

3. This upgrade is only valid for paid fares. Tickets using mileage cannot be upgraded, nor can tickets purchased at discount online travel agencies such as Priceline and Hotwire. Generally, discount fares ARE eligible for upgrade if not purchased in I, O or Q class. Check with the airline and read the rules below before you buy the ticket.

4. UK departures (not arrivals to the UK) are subject to a Luxury Tax. The winner of this auction is responsible for any Luxury Tax or fees assessed by the airline. I have departed from the UK and departures from the UK always have a Luxury Tax.

This sale is final (no refunds). I accept payment using PayPal only. It is the bidder’s responsibility to contact me with any questions prior to bidding. Furthermore, it is the bidders' responsibility to check with American Airlines for availability and applicability of the upgrade for their flights prior to bidding. Reminder: this is an electronic upgrade not a paper upgrade, all transaction will be handled either via the phone or email.

Here are the requirements as listed by American Airlines that you must meet:

* Upgrade entitles passenger to a one-way upgrade to the next class of service at no additional charge for travel on American Airlines to any American Airlines destination.
* This upgrade is subject to capacity controls and is limited to a single one-way trip with a maximum of three segments. American Eagle segments do not count toward the three segments.
* Reservations are subject to seat availability at the time of upgrade.
* Reservations may be made and tickets purchased from any authorized Travel Agency or American Airlines. Upgrade requests using systemwide upgrades cannot be made via AA.com at this time.
* Upgrades are valid only on scheduled flights marketed as American Airlines and operated by American Airlines. Not valid on codeshare flights.
* Open tickets may not be issued.
* Stopovers, joint and through fares are permitted if fare purchased allows.
* If, after ticketing, your ticket must be reissued, a change fee may apply based on your purchased fare.
* Any tax liability is the responsibility of the user.
* Upgrades are only valid on individual published-fare tickets. Upgrades are not applicable to AAdvantage travel awards; any free ticket; tickets booked in I or O Class; fares booked in Q between North America and Asia, Europe, India or South America; military or other government fares; opaque fares; infant tickets (including INF50 fares) or purchased extra seats.
* Any itinerary changes to a confirmed upgrade are subject to seat availability for the new itinerary.
* AAdvantage mileage will accrue for the class of service on which your fare is based when you are ticketed, not for the class of service flown.
* Any voluntary refund of a ticket issued against the upgrade shall be in accordance with applicable fare rules for the fare purchased.
* Members may designate another passenger to use their upgrades.
* Passengers may be requested to show identification at any time during travel.
