The Flooring System: Although the Global Green System can be erected on a slab foundation, a Flooring System has been designed to provide ease of erection. Foundation piers can be height adjusted to meet building terrain requirements.
The floors are supported on adjustable steel piers with concrete footings secured in the ground. The spacing of the supports and joists are the essential elements of the system, increasing strength and rigidity in the design. The steel floor joists nest securely inside the structural supports. When the supports and joists have been bolted together, floor sheeting is fixed to the frame.
The Wall System: Modular panels are the basic component of the wall system. Steel frames are laid out and cover sheets bonded to them. This panel is inserted in a revolving carousel, compressed by 70 tons of pressure and a non-toxic foam containing fire retardants is injected to provide an impact resistant panel.
The thermal insulation properties provide an R19 thermal insulation rating for hot and cold climates. The wall panels can be designed with or without full height PVC conduit ducts to allow for electrical services. After erection, internal walls can be painted directly or dressed to suit.
Different style panels easily incorporate doorways and windows in a wide variety of sizes to meet the scope of design. External panels are ready to paint, apply a texture coating, plaster rendering or brick veneer.
The Roof System: Two strong, lightweight steel sections make up the roof system. All sections nest together and are joined using galvanized aluminum screws. No welding is used and protective coatings remain fully intact, minimizing the possibility of corrosion. |
