If you have lost your dog or you're looking to adopt, weekly updated photos of dogs at both the East side county shelter in Mesa and West side facility in Phoenix. There are no guarantees the dog in the picture will still be there, so visit both shelters in person every 1-2 days.

The MCACC East Valley animal shelter is located in Mesa, AZ at 2630 W. 8th Street (8th Street & the 101) and serves the following Arizona cities: Phoenix (east of Central Ave), Cave Creek, Carefree, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Fountain Hills, Guadalupe, Tempe, Mesa, Salt River Pima/Maricopa Indian Communities, Chandler, Gilbert, Queen Creek.
The MCACC West Valley pound is located in Phoenix, Arizona at 2500 S. 27th Avenue (27th Avenue and Lower Buckeye) and houses strays and other adoptable pets from the following AZ cities: Phoenix (west of Central Ave), Surprise, Peoria, Glendale, Goodyear, Avondale, Buckeye, Litchfield Park, El Mirage, Tolleson, Estrella, Gila Bend, Youngtown, Buckeye, Laveen.
MCACC - Maricopa County Animal Care & Control (602-506-PETS) - Lost/Found and Adoption hours at both of those facilities are Monday-Friday (11am-5:30pm), Saturday (11am-5:30pm), and Sunday (noon-4pm).
If you have lost a dog or cat, please make sure you visit the shelter at least every other day. Visiting daily is best as animals are only held for a few days before the possibility of being put up for adoption. Every week we will post the most current pictures. Do not give up the search for your lost pet. Some people will hold onto an animal for awhile before turning it into the pound.
