This great piece of luggage is from 1980.
It's a well-traveled bag with lots of character - with many miles left to go!!
No one will question it's authenticity when they see it -
the quality is obvious!
This bag was made before the LV date codes were used. There's plenty of info on Ebay reference pages about how to know if an LV is authentic, and this bag passes all the tests.

I've taken lots of pictures and tried to show any flaws. The flaws actually look worse in my pictures than they really are (thanks to a great camera!).
It's actually in great condition!

Here's the scoop:
The leather and the interior are in great shape - no rips, tears or stains and comes from a smoke-free home
All zippers are in working order
It has two large pockets on the back and two very roomy pockets on the front
There is a small area on the top corner (about 1/2") that is worn
Some of the leather trim is discolored
There is a leather loop that was removed at the top (can't really notice it and it doesn't interfere with the function of the bag)
One side clasp came off and the little piece of leather is ripped. That could be easily fixed at a leather shop. Also, I am including a different clasp as the original one is gone.
The zipper pull shows some discoloration.
Some discoloration on the top handle and leather underneath it.
