The Autographed Lost in Space Robot
A Fan-built Replica
This is a fan-built B9 Lost in Space Robot replica. It was built by a B9 Builder's club member in 2003. It has attended many conventions with actor Bob May. It took over 2000 hours to build.
NOTE: Before Bob May passed away I promised him that I would make a donation to the Make a Wish Foundation. 10% of the sale price of this robot will go to that charity.
Did you know that my eBay store "Robots and Androids and More" sells the complete DVD set for all THREE seasons of the Lost in Space TV series as well as the 1998 Lost in Space movie?
This Robot B9 Attracts Attention!
This TV show prop replica is a great way of attracting attention at your next sale.
It would be a fantastic addition to the lobby of a high tech company to greet your guests as they entered. It can be programmed (computer not included but available from my store.) to say anything.
Having the Robot grace your living room or foyer will make you the envy of every sci-fi buff on the planet.
Having B9 at your store or office will bring people looking and wondering and bringing thier friends into the store. At the conventions that I attended with Bob May, nearly EVERYONE wanted a photo with the Robot.
This B9 especially attracted the women at conventions. It must have been his magnetic personality! Or perhaps it was his flashing diode timer heart!
This robot has THREE AUTOGRAPHS on its torso!
Actor: Bob May
Voice Actor: Dick Tufeld
Robot Designer: Bob Kinoshita
There will NEVER again be another robot replica with these THREE autographs. The Lost in Space robot was a work of art and this work of art is autographed by the Robot's designer Bob Kinoshita, the Robot's voice actor Dick Tufeld, and by the actor who brought B9 to life, Bob May. Having this replica in your den will bring you and your guests a thousand smiles. He'll have greetings for people at Christmas, Halloween and more. Many B9 owners let B9 hold the candy dish on Halloween.
This Robot is Famous!
This B9 has escorted actor Bob May on many conventions including the Star Trek 40th Aniversary Convention in Las Vegas.

Robot Trivia
The Robot is also known as Blinky, Gunter, or just Robot.
Bob never did tell us how he could so easily swing the robot's torso around 180 degrees. When I once asked he quickly told me to "Go to hell!" We will never know.
During the filiming of Lost in Space actors Bob May (Robot) and Jonathan Harris (Dr. Smith) often improvised lines completely changing the original script.
Once the robot started to smoke. The crew including Irwin Allen, in a mad panic nearly tossed water on B9 only to find out that Bob May was still inside the robot smoking a cigarette.
Some of Dr. Smiths insults for the Robot were, "Bubble-Headed Booby, Cybernetic Simpleton, Ferrous Frankenstein, Pompous Pip-squeak, Rusty Rasputin, Tin-Plated Tintinnabulation, and Traitorous Transistorized Toad!"
