Perfect for costumes (think Hello, Dolly, Meet me in St. Loius, etc.)for theater or dance. I have new parasols: heavy opaque nylon taffeta with serged edges. Handle is white molded plastic with a knob at the end. Umbrella mechanism is metal. They measure 30 inches end-to-end, including a 1 1/2 inch metal tip. Diameter is 26 inches opened, with 8 panels. Can easily be decorated to period.
