| This is a very rare "set" of all 5 games of the 1969 World Series between the Baltimore Orioles and the Miracle New York Mets on 5 discs. This is archival material from the vaults but they are complete games with the exception of 1 inning and part of another in the middle of game 5. That inning is lost. Game 5 also has some minor glitches during the first 1.5 innings on the original tape that cannot be restored. Perhaps this is the reason they have yet to be released. Games 1 and 2 are in black & white and are sourced from CBC Canada. Game 1 has the original commercials. Games 3,4,5 are in Color from NBC and even have the 15 minute pre-game with Jim Simpson, Sandy Koufax, and Mickey Mantle in the studio! The picture quality is excellent for the most part. Game 2 is less perfect than the other games. These are a treasure for Mets fans, and even any fan of old baseball games of that era.
