This is Kyzer... a spunky, attentive, calm, and trained, Male Miniature Pinscher. He is 3 years old and a small 14 lbs. His coat is glossy tan and his eyes are bright brown. His ears and tail are cropped, he is fixed/ neutered, fully vaccinated (for rabies, k9 flu, kennel cough, parvo, etc.), Micro Chipped from HomeAgain, comes with existing HeartGuard monthly medication, and has a clean bill of health from the vet. He has all his shot records, Ids, and certificates to prove this.
Kyzer's past and future is unknown. We adopted him from the Fort Worth Animal Shelter almost 3 months ago. We fell in love with his charming character and adorable gestures. It is speculated that he got lost from his previous owners after they had his ears and tail cropped. He was still healing from the surgery and wounds from a possible dog fight, on his bottom. At the shelter he was neutered. He had lost some weight and seemed to have tar stuck on his coat. Who knew what he had been through, bless his heart. We saw the potential in his big eyes.
We adopted him, introduced him to the family (cat, dog, babies), and let him relax. His surgery and bite wound healed as his beauty showed. His favorite thing is to cuddle up under covers or in your lap. He enjoys sun bathing on the porch or peacefully relaxing anywhere in your home. He loves to go on car rides and stays put while you run an errand, non-destructively. He has a kind nature with family and other animals alike (as long as they respect him). Loves to play with toys and can wear clothes like you or me. He is trained and willingly obeys. He is a classic min pin, with the heart of a 100 lb dobie, in a compact thick little body. A cool dog that doesn't get in the way or mess things up in your home.
KYZER PROS:
pure breed
not hairy
likes baths
potty trained
crate trained
command trained (sit, stay, come, lay, up, down, heal)
leash trained
vaccinated
on monthly heartgard prevenative (4 remaining in pack)
neutered
ears and tails cropped like a Dobermans
healthy, happy, full of personality
OK with CATS
OK with smaller or submissive female DOGS (males uncertain)
KYZER CONS:
digs if left unattended outdoors for hours
has male dog dominant personality, likes to be treated with respect and not run over as a small dog
NO SMALL KIDS 24-7, visits fine
He has to be re-homed because while my 4 year old was trying to take his chew bone away, Kyzer tried to get a better grip up on the bone, but got my sons finger while doing so. Nothing bad just needed a bandaid. It was an accident but we can't trust a non-submissive type dog. Young kids don't know how to respect them. He has never worried me, but he would be better suited for a home with NO immediate small kids (I have a 10m + 4yr old). He has NEVER tried to bite us, he is NOT a mean dog. He is very owner loyal, compassionate, cuddly, well behaved, and a great watch dog for patrol. Now that he is in his prime I can't bare to see him go back to the pound, but he is not suited for a home with little kids. He will thrive living with adults in an apartment or home situation. He would win your heart too and become your care free side-kick and companion!
Please contact me if you would like to meet him or have any further questions. I tried to be as thorough as possible. :0)
