1977 chevrolet chevelle malibu classic

For sale: 1977 Malibu Classic $5900obo. Make an offer, dire that I get rid of the car this week, I've hit a financial snag.

Transmission is a rebuilt TH-350 With a b&m shift kit and a 2000 rpm torque convertor.

Driveshaft is brand new from Rhode Island driveshaft.

Body: The car has 120,xxx miles and is Creme Gold which was a factory color. 2 Door coupe, with white vinyl Landau top. all the moldings on the car are in beautiful condition. Nothing is missing. Body is in fairly good condition for the age, does have blemishes. There are a few spots were the paint is missing, surface rust around the window trim but thats it, bumpers need to be replaced or refinished. Grill has a couple of dings. The front passenger floor pan and the rear drivers floor pan are rusted and need to be replaced. The rear shocks are Monroe air shocks, I'm not sure about the springs for the front or rear or what the front shocks are but I believe they are Monroe. The car has a brand new gas tank and straps. 15"x7" Rallye Rims.

Interior: The interior is white vinyl, front seats are swivel bucket. The dash is mint with the exception of the holes undernieth were the choke is located but its not visible. All the glass is in good condition. center console and floor shifter in good condition. All the seat belts are in good condition. The interior moldings are kinda junky, I have some replacements that I got when I bought the car from the previous owner, the others would have to be refinished or replaced. The front buckets need to be reupholstered. The carpet needs to be replaced. The door panels are dirty but can be sprayed with interior paint and they would look good as new. Has a Blaupunkt head unit not sure of the year, and Jensen 6"x9" speakers in the rear deck.

The Engine has a vaccum leak which I haven't located but I didn't look much and I've run out of time. It runs great in nuetral and park, but dies in drive or reverse. Idles high but the valves need to be adjusted I haven't been able to do it properly because as it sits, the car has just the stock manifolds so its very loud and I haven't been able to so it needs an exhaust as well. I've run out of time to finish the car. You can email and I will respond as soon as possible. Will also need an air filter, the one I purchased is to large, but if you wanted I could return it and get one that would fit.
