If you love the Midwest you will love this Limited Edition Hand Colored Etching done in 1981 by Jeb Breithmany. It so reminiscent of the Midwest in the 40’s 50’s 60’s and still in the 70’s, its small farmer, open farmland, dirt roads and historic windmills, that covered the landscape. It is something that is rapidly changing today and will completely change tomorrow, but captured here and now in this comforting piece.
Today the windmills have been replaced by wind turbines, dirt roads by highways, wood buildings with metal buildings and from small independent farmers to huge corporate farms.
Progress… to some, but those who lived in that time, remember the quite peaceful freedom of the Midwest or experienced raising livestock, crops and family on the family farm, there will never be a time like this again.
