EASY STREET
This short-lived comedy series stared Loni Anderson as a former Las Vegas showgirl who had married a rich playboy (“we were really in love”) and promptly inherited half of his of his fortune & Beverly Hills mansion when he unexpectedly died. The other half was owned & occupied by L.K.’s snooty sister-in-law Eleanor & her milquetoast husband, Quentin, who wished L.K. was out of the house - and their lives.
When her life became unbelievably Lonely, L.K. went looking for her only living relative, elderly Uncle Alvin “Bully” Stevenson. She found him living in a Run-Down retirement home with his best friend & room mate Recardo. Feeling she couldn’t just leave them there living like that, when she had so much, She invited them to come spend the weekend with her at her home. The weekend became permanent, even after the complaints & disbelief of Eleanor.
