HOLLYWOOD STORY - 1951
Richard Conte is a film producer who decides to do a bio on a murdered silent film director. The case was never solved and Conte does some digging on his own to see what he can find out. Soon someone is taking pot shots at him and he is getting pressure to leave sleeping dogs lie. Needless to say he keeps digging and bodies start to pile up. Decent film noir with lots of old time silent stars in cameo roles. Rest of the cast includes, Henry Hull, Richard Egan, Fred Clark, Jim Backus and Julia Adams. Miss Adams is best recalled from Creature from the Black Lagoon.
Quality is around 8.5 and comes with a case with artwork. Make sure your dvd will accept dvd-r, dvd+r discs. No refunds but will promptly replace any defective disc.
