The Sherlock Holmes - The Complete Collection DVD set features all forty-one episodes (36 X 60 minutes and 5 X 120 minutes) taken from "The Adventures", "The Return", "The Casebook" and "The Memoirs" series.
Based on the crime novels and short stories of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, this acclaimed series recreates the classic Sherlock Holmes mysteries of murder and theft in Victorian times. Jeremy Brett stars in the lead role of Detective Sherlock Holmes, with David Burke playing the role of his assistant, Doctor John Watson, in Series One. In the second series, Burke is replaced by Edward Hardwicke.
DVDs are DVD+R media, are REGION FREE and can be played in most any DVD player worldwide. Quality is original excellent, identical to retail. The Four Oaks Mystery's quality is not excellent-- it's watchable, but looks like old television. Still, you can't get this anywhere.
No artwork and shipped in paper sleeves.
