1984's other "robots in disguise" cartoon did not enjoy the success of Transformers, but is nevertheless remembered fondly by fans. Despite widespread belief, GoBots actually predated Transformers, but neither is a clone of the other-the American toys were simply based on competing products in Japan. Now you can own the highest quality version of this short lived TV show-this set contains all 65 regular episodes of the series + the 1986 War of the Rock Lords film on 10 DVD-R discs; episode quality varies, but is generally 7.5-8 for the show and about a 7 for the film.
