This is a 1981 made for TV movie. The rags-to-riches tale of country western queen, Tammy Wynette, follows her life from her impoverished childhood to country's First Lady and her two rocky marriages to fellow superstar George Jones. It's stars Annette O'Toole in the role of Tammy. Running time is slightly over an hour and a half. This is a 0-all region dvd and will play on your US player or computer (to save you from asking). Nice pic quality, complete with chapters, menu listings, artwork, case etc. No raw discs here. Also note the low shipping, only $3.00 for quick 1rst class shipping in the US, no slow media ship here.
NOTE UK BUYERS: I have been getting a lot of emails asking whether this will play on your UK dvd players... I have sold A LOT of these to people in the UK and I've never yet had anyone report that it wouldn't play for them. So I'm under the assumption that your dvd players with play NTSC discs as well as PAL discs which is the standard for the UK. Buy at your own risk, but so far I've had a 100% success rate so you should be safe purchasing this movie.
