-Hunt for the Texas 7: The 7 convicts that escaped in Texas are profiled in this MSNBC documentary. Who they were- how they escaped- where they went after escaping- and how they were caught. Features tons of interviews, including the escapees themselves.
-Lock Up Abroad: True stories of people that travel abroad and either end up in prison, or become captives of rebels. Very interesting show. Reenactments of actual events are inter-cut with interviews of the actual people. Some have tried to smuggle drugs and got caught, some were just at the wrong place and ended up kidnapped by terrorist groups. I have the following episodes:
- Lima: A man attempts to smuggle 6 kilos of cocaine back to the US and lands in Peru prisons.
Uganda: Tourist are kidnapped by rebels.
-Malaysia: Couples are kidnapped, held hostage, and some even raped while snorkeling in Malaysia.
