FAQ's and PRODUCT DETAILS
Who is Faucets Galore and how did its concept begin?
Our products have been sold in the US for ten (10) years and have all required state and national certification. We are a national franchise operation that offers superior quality and value-added products at all our showroom locations with factory direct pricing to both retail and wholesale consumers. Our goal is to provide outstanding quality products, great service, and save our clients money. We are the only company that offers a true unconditional and unlimited warranty.
Are Faucets Galore Faucet products lead free?
All products that are required to be in compliance with the Federal Clean Drinking Water Act (NSF61) have been certified.
What is ceramic disc valving?
The valves are the most critical mechanical element in a faucet. Faucets Galore utilizes state-of-the-art ceramic disc valving for a lifetime of drip-free dependable usage. Ceramic disc valves are not subject to rotation, friction or compression forces like rubber washers that degrade with time and use. Instead, a pair of smooth rotating ceramic discs control water flow. With diamondlike hardness the ceramic discs hold their form and prevent the frequent leaks and drips that common in washer-type and ball-type valves.
What is PVD?
PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) is a very elegant molecular process whereby your faucet is finished with a uniform layer of deposited metals, metal alloys or metal nitrides and oxides. The resulting finish is a molecular bonded finished that has become part of your faucet rather than a “dipped” or spray coated faucet. The process is carried out in a large vacuum chamber (0.013 atmospheres). The faucets are placed into the evacuated chamber while an inert gas such as argon is backfilled and ionized. This cleans and prepares the parts for the metal deposition process. A metal is introduced to a high current, low voltage electrical arc resulting in a gaseous and ionized metal that is then accelerated at high energies and introduced to the chamber with inert or reactive gases. The different mixtures of gases will react with the deposited metal resulting in the various colors we see on faucets. For instance, zirconium and nitrogen are used to make the popular polished brass we see on most door handles and faucets. Your Faucets Galore faucets are treated with the highest quality PVD finishes on the planet and will give you years of beauty and enjoyment to add to your home.
