Thie Six Million Dollar Man TV show was a sci-fi series about an astronaut (Colonel Steve Austin) who was critically injured while testing a lunar lander for NASA. Luckily for him, the U.S. Government also had a program developing machine replacement body parts! They replaced both of his legs and his right arm with "super-powered" mechanical ones. He also got a new left eye with telescopic vision! As a cyborg (part-human, part-machine), Colonel Austin used his powers to fight the enemies of the United States and free people everywhere!
