SYNOPSIS:
Private Detective Thomas Fox (Fred Williamson) is hired by rich man to find his niece, who has disappeared while traveling in Europe.
"Foxtrap" is a great action thriller shot in Los Angeles and parts of Europe. Fred Williamson hired to find a missing girl in france. Fred Williamson also wrote, produced and directed this movie, one of his best films. Fred Williamson probably the best-looking black actor, delivers another natural solid performance with his slick suites, cigar and charm. of course Fred Williamson has a steamy love scene with a lovely italian girl as well. Christopher Connelly also gives a fine performance as the bad guy. "Foxtrap" is a well paced thriller with good shoot out scenes and fight scenes.
COMMENT:
Action star Fred Williamson was trying to give up his Jesse Crowder character and start a new character called Fox. He drives a car with a licence plate saying "DA FOX" ! Funny scene in the beginning where kids try to steal the radio out of his car and runs away as they see his licence plate! Fox is hired by Christopher Connelly to find a girl who is in France, so Fred Williamson goes to the Cannes film festival! Good music, great action, It would be interesting to see Fred do another Fox adventure, but to all of us Williamson fans, he is still Fred no matter what character he plays.
