This Trimble System is a highly accurate GPS receiver/UHF radio combined together in one excellent strong package. The Trimble R Track technology in the receiver fully supports L2C and L5 GPS along with GLONASS. The unit can be used for RTK/GNC and static surveying as well as being deployed in the VRS Trimble Infrastructure Network. This unit comes with both the Trimble Zephr 2 and the Zephyr Geodetic 2 antennas. Use the Zephyr antenna when employing the unit as a rover and the Geodetic antenna when using the system as a base station. The many uses and benefits of the Trimble R7 GNNS unit include topographic, cadastral, seismic, stakeout and control surveying.

The receiver's able to utilize GPS signals with GLONASS which can aid in improving field productivity. The new L2C/L5 GPS singals improve reliability and productivity and are easily acquired and tracked in what would normally be rough GPS conditions.
