The Change Easy Bag™ Pattern is our original design and was designed for ease of use and practicality.
The pattern includes full size pieces for the bag in a compact size of just 14” x 9” when closed, yet the changing pad opens up to 24” x 30”. The pattern is printed with clear and concise markings to aid in the easy construction of the bag.
The pattern includes a list of suggested fabric types and offers some great techniques for construction, such as our super fast, super simple zipper application that you’ll just love! We also suggest the use of some great notions to make the job faster and easier. You’ll be able to take these methods and use them on your next project.
The Change Easy Bag™ pattern offers options for pockets inside and out, handle and shoulder strap options and ideas for embellishment.
The bag’s compact size makes it ideal for quick trips such as shopping, play dates, park visits, restaurant visits; anytime you don’t want or need a bulky, heavy, “full-size” diaper bag. It will carry up to 6 or 8 diapers, travel size diaper wipes, diaper cream, hand sanitizer, a bib, a snack for baby, a bottle or cup for baby and you’ll still have room to tuck in your wallet, keys and phone! With a handle or shoulder strap, it is easy to carry or tuck under your arm.
The special design of this bag, makes it easy to open, unfold and reach all contents with just one hand, leaving the other hand free to hold on to your squirming baby. When you make it from washable fabrics, it is easy to clean in the laundry making it a perfect sanitary solution for public changing areas.
