Four generations of my extended family have been vacationing in the same place on the New Hampshire shore for over 20 years. This vacation guide is based on that experience.
Unlike most vacation guides it does not focus on standard “touristy” stuff although you will certainly find things like that in here. Instead it tells you about the places we go back to every year to eat, to buy beach reads, to go antiquing and be entertained, both individually and as a family, as well as other places to appeal, I hope, to a wide range of interests. Hopefully there is something in here for everybody.
For each place mentioned there is not only the usual information: address, phone, fax, email, website – whatever is available – but also for many of them, pictures to help you recognize them from the road. Some of them do not jump out at you and can be easily missed.
