A business executive for Grand Empire, and insurance company in New York City, was passed over for promotion. A promotion which he deserved. Feeling rather blue, Michael Wiseman went for a drink with his good friend Roger Bender who also worked for Grand Empire. However, little did he know, that his life would change dramatically that evening. Whilst waiting for the subway train there was an accident, resulting in Michael Wiseman being knocked in front of a train. To his friends and family, he died that evening. But to the Government, he had just become their lab rat. For at that time, the United States Government were secretly working on a project which would result in the perfect human-being being produced. But there was just one problem – the scientist working on the project could manufacture a complete human body with regenerative organs and tissue, but what they could not manufacture was the brain that would control such a body. Michael Wiseman’s death gave them the perfect opportunity. His brain was salvaged from the accident site and he was carefully placed into this super-human body. That however posed a problem. Michael was still in love with his wife, his daughter and basically, his former life. Under the penalty of death he cannot make contact with anyone who he once knew, trusted and even loved.
