SYNOPSIS:
The bayou has it's own law... and they just broke it.
A group of National Guardsmen are on weekend maneuvers in the swamps of Louisiana. They run into some of the local Cajuns, and are marked for death in this exciting and disturbing thriller. Powers Boothe is excellent in a rare exploration of a little-understood way of life. Lots of blood. If you belong to the National Guard, this could make you queasy.
A squad of National Guards on an isolated weekend exercise in the Louisiana swamp must fight for their lives when they anger local Cajuns by stealing their canoes. Without live ammunition and in a strange country, their experience begins to mirror the Vietnam experience.
