The Century Plaza: follows the lives of people that are residing in a hotel that serves as home to people that have nowhere else to go. Once a prominent five star hotel in Portland, Oregon that catered to traveling businessmen in this documentary you will see none of that. Just real people with real problems that are to old,to addicted or to sick to move on in life and stay there.
Narrated mostly by the desk clerk and Mr.Friedman an older resident that is bitter to say the least. Rico the cat guides you through the corridors of the broken down hotel and the broken down guests that occupy The Century. It's not pretty by any means. Among the people who emerge from the film are a convicted child molester trying to stay on the straight and narrow, a handicapped African American and a young couple on disability with a young child. This is a real look into these peoples lives. An excellent cautionary tale and you have to admire the directors resolve to occupy the plaza for the sake of bringing you the story.

DVD has no artwork, and will be shipped in a plain plastic sleeve to prevent scratching. =)
