This ad is for 2 DVDs, which includes 4 one hour episodes of the series, "Sex: The Revolution". This series puts its focus on the years between the advent of the birth control pill in 1960 and the time of the Reagan administration's first public acknowledgment of the AIDS crisis in 1987. The show's narrative sweep is driven by interviews with key observers of the sexual revolution, including influential participants (Hugh Hefner, Susan Brownmiller, Helen Gurley Brown) and savvy cultural critics (David Allyn, Gay Talese). "Sex" covers the story of sexual liberation, the story of gay rights and feminism, and the challenge was how we could do all that stuff and keep it together."
The series is successful at tackling a broad swath of topics in a manner that is both smart and entertaining. It traces the evolution of Americans' attitudes toward sex from '50s era sexual repression through the "free love" Sixties and concludes with the hedonistic "Me Decade" that was the 1970s and its aftermath. Each of the episodes are scored using both music and wonderous archival footage helps this doc remain compelling throughout its four-hour runtime.

Q: This item was listed 2 years ago- is it still available? Can I buy more than one copy?
A: Yes, if my ad is active, I have the item in stock. =) You may buy as many copies as you need, I will give a discount.

Q: How much is shipping if I buy more than 1 DVD?
A: Shipping is a flat $3.00 (in the USA)- even if you buy 50 DVD's. Shipping to the UK, Canada and Australia varies, depending on where you live. =)
Q: I am looking for a documentary I don't see in your store.
A: Click the "Buy" button on ANY of my and ask me- I get new documentaries in weekly. Chances are I may have it and just have not listed in yet. If I don't have it, I can likely find it for you.
Q: What is the quality on your DVD's?
A: Almost all my DVD's are excellent quality, 9/10 or 10/10. However, some of my older docs are good quality and are 7/10 or 8/10. I specialize in older, rare, hard to find DVD's, some 20-30 years old. I DO NOT sell bad quality, fuzzy DVD's. My older DVD's have clear pictures, just not the high quality of today's DVD's.
A: How long will I take to get my order?
Q: I strive to get all my orders out within 48 hours of receiving payment, sometimes sooner. Larger orders may take a day or two more. From then on, it's up the PO, but normal delivery time is 2-5 days.
Q: Do you trade?
A: Yes, I trade DVD's and also buy them. If you have documentaries (any subject) and wish to trade, contact me. =)
Q: What is return policy?
A: In the rare case that DVD does not work, please contact me and I will replace it with the same DVD. I do not do refunds. If you are unhappy for ANY reason with your item, contact me BEFORE leaving feedback so I can help you. I want YOU to be happy with your order and I will go out of my way to make sure you are. =)
Q: It's been 6 days and my order hasn't arrived- what do I do?
A: 95% of my orders within the US get there in 2-5 days from the time you paid. I track each and every order. Please allow at least 10 days before contacting me. I leave them at the Post Office, it's out of my hands. I can't control the shipping time. If it's been 10 days- contact me and let me know. If it has NOT been 10 days, please do not contact me, check your tracking number. I will NOT track packages unless it has been more than 10 days. If it has been lost, I will replace it at my own cost. =)
