SYNOPSIS:
A former Texas Ranger (Kelly McGillis) is recruited by a Houston Police Captain (Bruce Dern) to assist a homicide detective (D.W. Moffett) in the search for an elusive serial killer (David Keith) who collects antique dolls.
Forensic psychologist and Ex-Texas Ranger Doctor Audrey MacLeah assists the police in the case of a serial killer who abducts women and holds them for a short time before he kills them. As the doll-obsessed killer hunts his next prey, Audrey MacLeah deals with inter-agency politics and her own tortured memories.
In the tradition of SILENCE OF THE LAMBS, Kelly McGillis is attempting to solve the mystery of a series of murders. Having left the Texas Rangers due to personal problems, she finds herself drawn in when a Houston cop asks for her help. With her own personal reasons for catching the killer, she uses her interviews of psychopaths for information about the murders.
