Beach Cabanas at Oleron Island, France - Plein Air in Frame - Unique Art Gift

Created by Jeff Sterling plein air during a recent trip to the West Coast of France, where he's had an atelier/studio for nearly 4 years in La Rochelle, the capital city of Charente Maritime on the Bay of Biscay (Atlantic Ocean). Scenes of this famous beach on Ile d'Oleron, the second largest French island..connected to the mainland city of Marennes are not well known to many American tourists..but this region, rich in 5 star resorts, boutiques,art galleries,spas,agriculture and seafood restaurants is very well known throughout Europe. This view was created on 'canvas paper'..size: 12 " wide X 9" deep (30.5 X 22.9cm) using top quality watercolors and some pen and India inks to enhance certain details and give the viewer a 'feel' for the natural beauty of these beach huts (they are actually cabanas owned by residents of the island..and guests). BONUS: We will ship this lovely watercolor (in a heavy padded shipping box) in a clear plastic acrylic 9" X 12" box frame so you can enjoy the art immediately. Many buyers eventually purchase a more elaborate frame from a local frame shop to enhance the decor of their home.
