GI JOE #7701 ACTION MARINE COMMUNICATIONS POST/PONCHO

This lot is for a GI JOE #7701 Action Marine Communications Post and Poncho Set. Skin color is perfect. Small stress crack on the left knee. The head is hard with no rubs. Face is clean and perfect. All face paint present. All limbs are tight. Most if not all the rivets are painted. The makers marks on the buttocks reads GI JOE R Copyright 1964 by Hasbro R Pat No. 3277602 Made in the USA.

The camouflage shirt and pants have all their snaps and they snap. The one faux button on the right is cracked. The boots are great except for a small hole on the side of the boot. No stains, rips or tears. The tag in the collar reads, GI JOE R by Hasbro Hong Kong. Camouflage helmet has both its lugs with elastic chinstrap that fits perfectly under the chin.Markings for the helmet are Hasbro R Japan #3.

Rifle is in good shape. I did it have to glue the barrel back onto the rifle, but its own to stay. Ammo box has the original yellow stencil on the case saying US GI JOE. Hasbro R Japan is stenciled under the lid. Lid also opens and closes with ease.

Map case is perfect with Hasbro R engraved on the bottom. Original black stencil MAPS is in full color.

The camouflage tall field radio is in great condition. The lid opens and closes perfectly. No weak hinges. Hasbro R Hong Kong engraved on the back. Has the original elastic straps. Antennae is retractable and comes with the phone receiver attached to the cord.

The brown field phone is near perfect. Has adjustable vinly strap. No cracks or tears in the lid. The knob is connected. Hasbro R engraved with phone receiver on cord.

Tent has no rips or tears. All snaps snap.

Poncho has all snaps and minimal to no sheading. Comes with original drawstring. Does pull taught.

Back Pack is ultra clean with GI JOE TM By Hasbro Japan R. No rust on the buckles and clips. All shiney. Four hand grenades hang well on the front.

Overall, a great set! Minimal boo-boos! The highlight is the near perfect figure, back pack, vinly phone, and ammo box. An asset to anyone with a GI JOE collection.
