Sea Hunt was the greatest underwater adventure series in the history of television and ran from 1958-1961 and starred Lloyd Bridges as a diver and a member of the Volunteer Coast Guard Auxilliary. Guest stars included his sons Beau and Jeff Bridges (when they were kids), Leonard Nimoy (in several episodes), and even an episode with a young Jack Nicholson.
This is a 20 disc 155 episode collection that has a chronological title menu with accurate air dates. Many of the episodes have been upgraded. The breakdown of picture quality would be 95% grading a 9, 3% grading an 8 and the remaining episodes grading 6 or above. Let me note that the episode "The Aquanettes" has a crackling audio and the episode "Skipper" has a horizontal roll. There are also about 15 episodes where the end credits are cut short.
This is the nicest set we have seen to date. Our family went through the entire series over a period of about a month. Great adventure, exciting stories and great family fun.
