Starting in 1975-1976 the format of the series
has been slightly changed and since then this exciting competition was played on
a club level. Also, the series were renamed to Super Series.
At the end of 1975 two Soviet clubs (Red Army and Wings
of Soviets) went to match up against NHL clubs and played 4 games each in Super
Series 1976.
This is a DVD disk with a hockey game between the CSKA (aka
Soviet Red Army) and the Montreal Canadiens in the evening of December
31st, 1975 played in Montreal, Canada.
This tremendous game has became a hockey classic
and by many hockey specialists still considered to be one of the greatest hockey
games ever played!
Watch the Soviet hockey stars Tretiak, Mikhailov, Petrov, Kharlamov,
Vasiliev, Maltsev and others to confront Dryden, P. Mahovlich, Robinson,
Lafleur, Cournoyer and the rest of Montreal Canadiens in this very exciting and

This DVD has all 3 periods minus intermissions and commercials.

interview with Peter Mahovlich!
DVD has fully featured menu with chapters, disk
has a nice label and comes in a DVD case with insert. This
