This wonderful yarn comes in cones of 3lbs plus. Most of the cones weight ounces over the 3lbs. I have used this yarn as a warp for my loom to check out it's strength. I produed a throw of 56 x 80 using less than one cone. The epi is 17. I made samples using the yarn to test usablity. I found the yarn to with stand washing and drying, without damage. I suggest doubling the yarn for hand work. This worked out well and allowed me to mix the colors.
