Rachael Packs Tons of Flavor in Her Tiny Tea Cup
Rachael Ray has had Wu Long tea on her show and says it
helps her maintain her slim figure. She also has a great
recipe for an awesome tea drink check out the one below.
This will make 5 servings and takes about 10 minutes
of Prep time:
Bring 3 cups water to a boil. Using the side of a knife,
crack open the cardamom pods, and add them to the
boiling water with the ginger. Boil for 5 minutes, then
remove from the heat. Add the tea bags and let steep
until the tea is red, about 5 minutes. Whisk in milk to
taste. Remove the tea bags, pour the tea through a sieve
and let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
Ingredients needed:
5 to 10 cardamom pods
2 teaspoons chopped fresh ginger
3 English breakfast tea bags
Whole milk

DIRECTIONS:
FOR HOT TEA:
Put one tea bag in a cup (two if you like it really
strong). Add fresh boiling water. Leave to infuse for 3
minutes. Serve with honey if desired.
FOR ICED TEA:
Prepare hot tea at double strength and pour into ice
filled glass melting of ice will dilute tea to server
strength. Serve with honey if desired.
