Classified Details RARE OBSCURE VINTAGE TV COMMERCIALS DVD OVER 1 HOUR

It's Here! The much-anticipated Second Volume of Rare, Obscure TV commercials from the 60's and 70's on DVD with running time over 1 hour!

These classic commercials were discovered in an old warehouse over 15 years ago in their original 16mm format. They've been in storage ever since and I've finally gotten around to editing them and transferring them to DVD format direct from original film via a professional editing system. They are not all perfect however.

Again, to inform those that may not know - As some color film ages, the colors begin to fade and a red tone will become predominate in the picture. SOME of the film here is in this condition - some is not. Some are Black & White originally and have not been affected. BUT they are ALL VERY WATCHABLE – AND THE AUDIO IS REALLY GREAT! Some of these rare commercials probably haven't been seen in OVER 30 YEARS, and you would be hard-pressed to find some of them in ANY condition.

These commercials are so much fun to watch and show to your kids. Commercials were an entirely different medium in the 1960's and 70's than what we’re seeing now. Sex and violence were pretty much taboo on TV in any context, especially commercials. That's not to say these are boring - FAR FROM IT!

In this OVER ONE HOUR Volume 2 we have The Kenner Give-A -Show Projector, with kids having a party showing cartoon slides of the time, (Popeye, Yogi Bear, Mr. Magoo, Three Stooges) some more ads for Duncan YoYo’s with the Yoyo Man himself demonstrating a few tricks and a picture of an in-store Duncan Yoyo display. There are also several short ads for various editions of TV Guide magazine, showing different magazine covers at the end of each. One features Marcus Welby, MD (Robert Young & Elena Verdugo) another with the cast of All in the Family and several others. Of course there are plenty of coffee ads - Danny Thomas for Maxwell House, Vicki Carr also doing a Maxwell House ad and many more including Maxim, Yuban and the Southern favorite JFG. One of my very favorites in this set is one I can actually remember watching during my childhood for Tennessee Pride Sausage. This animated commercial has a catchy bluegrass type jingle and the coolest little Hillbilly guy singing along, finishing up with the memorable, "Take Home A Package Of Tennessee Pride" You'll kind of wonder about the sausage when they tell you what all they (supposedly) put in it! – This company is still in business today and they do have great sausage but we don’t see this commercial anymore. More ads for Weidemann Beer “That Weidemann – that’s one fine beer!”, Winston Cigarettes, Kool Cigarettes, Falstaff Beer, Jim Dandy Dog Food, BIC Ink Pens (Remember the ink pen in the ice skate, then plunged into the fire?), Big Boy Restaurants, Vitalis, Bakers Coconut, Salem Cigarettes, Canada Dry Wink, The Sassy One – featuring the Wink Mobile. Louise Lasser (Mary Hartman) is seen doing a pitch for White Cloud Toilet Tissue. Ideal Toys Tiny Pebbles and Tiny Bamm-Bamm, along with Dino, rock type house and accessories. Procter and Gamble offered a FREE Mary Makeup doll when you purchased their products, looks like a Barbie wannabe.

Pure Oil Firebird gasoline ad that features a scratch-off game that requires you to use CHLORINE BLEACH to see if you are a winner. (Glad they got that worked out before the lottery took off!) Another of the gems you’ll find in this volume is a small series of commercials for Kentucky Fried Chicken. These ads feature actual footage of Colonel Harland Sanders himself exclaiming “It’s Finger Lickin’ Good Folks”. Includes great shots of the famous Kentucky Fried Chicken Bucket and early take-out boxes. These commercials alone are themselves a rarity and a true part of Americana. There are some NBC TV promos for Adam-12, The Kraft Music Hall and for their 4-in-1 programming concept featuring a different show each week in the same time slot- which gave birth to the series McCloud, SF International, Rod Serling’s Night Gallery & The Psychiatrist. I could go on & on (guess I already have) about all the goodies contained here and

Remember, SOME OF THE COLOR COMMERCIALS HAVE SOME REDDENING - IF THAT IS AN ISSUE FOR YOU - PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE! I just want you know what you are getting here. I've received some feedback from Vol.1 and so far no complaints.

Buyer to pay $3 for Shipping and Handling. No rights are given, granted, conveyed or implied. This compilation is being sold from one collector to another.

AND HERE"S A SPECIAL DEAL FOR YOU!! BUY ALL 4 VOLUMES FOR $29.99 and SHIPPING IS FREE!! There may be a duplicate commercial here and there over the 4 disc series, but I guarantee over 1 hour of different content on each disc! If you like old commercials YOU"RE GONNA LOVE THESE!!!
