This book is 4 3/4X7" with green leather covers with gold printing of the Reading Lines logo in the diamond with an effective date of January 1968. Topics covered are signals and their use, headlights, markers, forms, movement of trains by block signals, rules for train dispatchers and conductors and other subjects. The 2nd book is 4 3/4X9 3/4" the Rules of the Maintenance of Way Department also with green leather covers and an effective date of June 1968. The index covers track/rail installation and maintenance, flagging, jointed rails, switch lamps whistle signs and other topics. Both books are in excellent to new condition.
